India's star batter Virat Kohli thanked a private jet service for the special journey back home as his tour to West Indies comes to an end. He posted a couple of pictures on social media during and after his long journey back home.

The break for the former Indian captain proved to be a longer one as he didn't get to play in the final two ODI games against West Indies. Kohli had to return home without even facing a ball in the format he mastered for a long long time, having been shuffled down the order in the first game along with skipper Rohit Sharma.

Both Rohit and Virat weren't part of the playing eleven in the second and third games in order to provide vacant places and give more game time to the youngsters or other possible contenders in the middle order.
The Men in Blue were seen trying further options and combinations as they gear for the upcoming Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup at home later this year.
Virat is expected to be in action straight in the Asia Cup as he is not a part of the T20I series against West Indies and Ireland. The talismanic batter was in sublime form in the Test series having helped his team pick up the victory in the first Test with a patient knock of 76.
He then followed it with a marathon innings, having hit his 29th Test century in his 500th international game as India clinched the two-match series 1-0.
Hardik Pandya led the side in the remaining two ODIs with West Indies managing to win the second but suffered a heavy beating in the final game to give India a 2-1 series win.
