IND vs ENG 4th Test: The uncertainty around two of India's main players Japrit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant for the fourth Test against England being held next week has become quite clear. Bumrah, due to his workload management, would be playing three of the five matches and has already played two of those matches. India skipper Shubman Gill also hasn't revealed anything as to which of those two matches will Bumrah be playing since they are trailing by 2-1 in the ongoing series after losing the third Test match at Lord's earlier this week.

The Rishabh Pant-led side received a huge blow as in-form batter Rishabh Pant sustained a finger injury while fielding during Bumrah's over in the third Test match. He was seen reeling in excruciating pain and didn't perform his duties as a wicketkeeper during the first innings and was thus replaced by Dhruv Jurel.

Despite all of this, Pant did come into bat during both the innings and had also smashed a fifty in one of those.

As per Sky Sports, both Bumrah and Pant would most likely be part of India's playing XI and will try to help the visitors make a comeback during the ongoing series.

The Shubman Gill-led side lost the third Test match by 22 runs and then Gill didn't reveal much as to whether they would be including Bumrah in the next Test match or not. “You’ll get to know soon," he told reporters in the post-match press conference.

But he was hopeful of Pant's availability. “Rishabh went for scans. There is no major injury, so he should be fine for the fourth Test in Manchester," he concluded.
