After clinching their first-ever ODI World Cup title, the Indian women's cricket team players are basking in the glory of their monumental effort. The World Cup win in Navi Mumbai did not just heal their former heartbreaks of past tournaments but also made way for more incredible opportunities in their careers. As per a report, the brand endorsement fees for several Indian women's Cricketers have experienced an incredible hike by 25% to 100% already.

The followers count of World Cup heroes like Jemimah Rodrigues, Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Deepti Sharma, Shafali Verma, among others, has gone significantly upwards. This is one of the massive reasons the Brand endorsement inquiries have surged, with agencies acknowledging the fee hike.

"Since this morning, there's been a rush of brand queries-not just new endorsements but also renegotiations, with fee increases upwards of 25-30%," Tuhin Mishra, Managing Director of Baseline Ventures, was quoted by NDTV.

Jemimah Rodrigues, whose portfolio is handled by JSW Sports, reported a hike of almost 100 per cent after her heroics against Australia in the semifinal helped India qualify for the final. "We've been flooded with requests almost immediately after the match against Australia was completed. We're in conversation with brands across 10-12 categories," Karan Yadav, Chief Commercial Officer at JSW Sports, was quoted by NDTV

For every brand endorsement, Jemimah now charges from Rs. 75 lakh to Rs. 1.5 crore, the report further said.

India's vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, recognized as the highest-paid female cricketer in the nation, currently endorses 16 brands, which include HUL's Rexona deodorant, Nike, Hyundai, Herbalife, State Bank of India (SBI), Gulf Oil, and PNB MetLife Insurance. It is reported that at 25 years old, she earns between Rs 1.5-2 crore for each brand endorsement.

Priya Nair, Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever, was ready to launch a full-page advertisement for Surf Excel even before the Indian women's team secured victory in the Women's World Cup final. The initiative was planned well ahead for Surf Excel's 'Daag Acche Hain' campaign as well as Rexona featuring Rodrigues: "The maidan belongs to every woman who shows up, stands tall, and plays with passion."

Puma, which sponsors players like Harmanpreet Kaur, Deepti Sharma, and Richa Ghosh, expressed during the campaign: "Every doubt. Every headline. Every heartbreak. Burned. Harmanpreet Kaur is a World Cup-winning captain." Pepsi also participated in the celebration with a congratulatory advertisement: "From one blue team to another."
