India vs Australia, Women's World Cup 2025: World No. 1 ODI batter Smriti Mandhana etched her name in the record books by becoming the first cricketer in Women's ODIs to achieve the milestone of 1000 runs in a calendar year.

India opener accomplished this feat during India's match against Australia in Visakhapatnam, slamming Aussie bowlers with her exceptional batting prowess.

Mandhana outmatched Belinda Clark's record for most runs in a calendar year in Women's ODIs, accomplishing the milestone during India's third match in the ongoing ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025.

Clark featured in 16 ODIs for the Southern Stars in 1997 and amassed a total of 970 runs.
