Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women vs Gujarat Giants Women Match: Gujarat Giants (GG) skipper Ash Gardner won the toss and opted to bowl against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 match at the BCA Stadium, Kotambi in Vadodara on Monday.
RCB has bounced back from an early scare against the Mumbai Indians, with key players like Grace Harris, Radha Yadav, and Smriti Mandhana playing major roles.
In contrast, the Gujarat Giants have struggled to maintain their promising start, facing challenges in finding a rhythm with the ball.

Speaking at the time of toss, Gardner said, "We are going to bowl. It's awesome to have what seems like a home supportive crowd. No doubt RCB will get a lot of support. Two changes. Anushka comes back after her hand injury and Happy (Kumari) makes her debut tonight. The batters have to do the job here as it's a high-scoring game. But firstly the bowlers need to keep it simple and keep the stumps in play. Hopefully we cantake early wickets and finish off the way we wanted to."
RCB captain Smriti Mandhana said, "Doing simple things right (On the success formula for the side). Every match there's a new player standing up. I didn't know that (smiles, when told her side will be through to the final if they win tonight). We have always focused on taking one game at a time. It's a group that has a lot of energy. We are going with the same side."
