The coordination committee of all district court bar associations of Delhi and the Delhi High Court Bar Association have strongly condemned the arrest of advocate Vikram Singh by the Gurugram STF.
In a statement, the committee described the arrest as a "direct attack on the independence of the legal profession" and an "attempt to intimidate the advocate." The committee emphasized that it is an advocate's professional duty to defend their client, and to criminalise them on this basis is an "assault on the rule of law and the justice system."
Call For Full Strike On November 6
Expressing solidarity with Vikram Singh, the committee has demanded the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of the "false case."
