Hot Air Balloon Rides In Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to launch hot air balloon rides at Asita Park this Saturday, following the success of the service at Baansera Park. While the rides may also be available on Sunday, they are expected to remain exclusive to Baansera for the time being. The scheduled timings for the rides are from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

This marks an exciting new chapter for Delhi residents, who will have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely hot air balloon ride offering spectacular views of the city’s expanding skyline and picturesque riverfront.

After Baansera Park, the DDA plans to introduce the hot air balloon service at three additional locations. Tickets for these rides will be available for online booking through the DDA website. The new locations include the Asita Eastern Park, Commonwealth Games Village sports complex and the Yamuna Sports Complex in Surajmal Vihar.

According to a report from Jagran.com, DDA officials revealed that at these new locations, the hot air balloon service will operate daily, with both morning and evening slots available, each lasting between 1.5 and 2 hours. The balloons will accommodate up to four passengers per ride.

Officials also mentioned that after the successful trial at Baansera Park at the end of November, the service was open to the public in just four days. The same model will be applied to the three new locations, which will soon offer the service to the public, giving a significant boost to tourism in Delhi.

Passengers will be treated to a 360-degree panoramic view of the city from the sky, making the balloon ride an attractive option for families, tourists, and adventure seekers alike. With carefully controlled lift-off heights and rigorous safety protocols, the DDA aims to establish ballooning as a regular recreational activity along the banks of the Yamuna.
