Delhi AQI Today: Delhiites struggled to breathe on Friday as the air quality in national capital remained very poor. At 7 AM, Delhi's AQI was recorded at 399. The Air Quality Index showed several areas in 'severe' category. There was no respite from toxic air despite restrictions on vehicles and construction activities under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP)-III in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR).
AQI in Ashok Vihar area of Delhi exceeded 400 at 7 am, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data. At 8 AM, Bawana logged the highest AQI at 460, while NSIT Dwarka saw relatively cleanest air as the AQI was recorded at 216.
India Gate and Kartavya Path recorded an AQI of 396 as they remained covered in a dense layer of toxic smog. Let's take a look at the AQI across Delhi-NCR today.
