Lal Qila Metro Station Closed Today: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced that the Lal Qila Metro Station will remain closed on Tuesday (November 11) due to the ongoing investigation into the Delhi blast on Monday evening, which killed at least nine people and injured several others. The DMRC clarified that all other stations are operating as usual.

"Lal Qila Metro Station is closed due to security reasons. All other stations are functional as normal," DMRC posted on X.

The Delhi blast has sent shockwaves across the region, prompting heightened security measures in several parts of the country. Authorities have declared a high alert in the National Capital Region, as well as in Uttar Pradesh, Mumbai, Punjab, and Haryana.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police intensified their investigation into the blast, conducting overnight searches at hotels in Paharganj, Daryaganj, and adjoining areas. Hotel records were scrutinized, and four suspects were detained for questioning, according to ANI, quoting police sources. However, an official confirmation is yet to be released.

A case has been registered under multiple provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Explosives Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Providing an update on Tuesday morning, DCP North Raja Banthia said that teams from the NSG, Delhi Police, and FSL are present at the site, examining the crime scene in detail.

Deputy Commissioner of Police of North Delhi, Raja Banthia, said, "As of now, the investigation is going on. We cannot comment on anything conclusively. FSL is lifting the traces of explosions. We are examining the scene of the crime."
