Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced the organisation of a 'Lunch Pe Charcha' (Discussion over Lunch) programme for the youth. She noted that while National Youth Day falls on January 12, it is a Monday and a working day when everyone will be busy. Therefore, she proposed meeting for lunch on Sunday, January 11, instead.
She stated that the event will feature an open dialogue regarding grievances from the past 11 years. There will be an honest review of the last 11 months, along with discussions on how to translate the youth's suggestions into action. Since attending a lunch on a Monday would be difficult for many, Sunday was chosen as the venue for the interaction.

Rekha Gupta has asked people to send their proposed solutions to problems via direct message or comments. Based on these responses, 15 to 20 individuals will be selected and invited to the lunch. She added that this will be the inaugural lunch, and similar events will continue to be organised in the future.
