The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to rope in a private firm to produce high-quality promotional videos highlighting its housing schemes and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Adhikar Yojana (PM-UDAY).

Launched in 2019, PM-UDAY aims to grant ownership rights to residents of unauthorised colonies in Delhi. The scheme has so far received around 1.3 lakh applications, but officials say limited publicity has curbed wider participation.

A DDA official said the campaign will focus on explaining the benefits, application process, and unique features of these initiatives to attract potential homebuyers and target audiences.

Tenders have been floated, and a specialised agency empanelled with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) will be selected to execute the project.

The audio-visuals will be rolled out across digital and traditional media platforms to raise awareness about the DDA’s housing inventory, PM-UDAY, and future projects.
