The Uttar Pradesh Urban Development Department has announced a special campaign to strengthen civic facilities in urban local bodies ahead of Navratri, Durga Puja, and Dussehra. The drive will focus on road cleaning, lighting, drinking water supply, and traffic management.

According to the plan, a statewide field inspection campaign will be conducted across all divisions from September 20 to October 2. The government has appointed secretaries, special secretaries, and officials from the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies as nodal officers for the inspections.
