Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri on Sunday announced that the comprehensive development of Sangam Vihar is a top government priority, with no shortage of funds to be allocated for the purpose. He was addressing a public meeting during the inauguration of multiple projects worth around Rs 100 crore in the constituency.

Bidhuri said the development works will include the laying of water pipelines, sewerage systems, measures to resolve waterlogging, construction of a community hall (Barat Ghar), installation of new borewells, repair of roads and lanes, and the development of a Chhath Ghat.

Accompanying him at the event, Sangam Vihar MLA Chandan Kumar Chaudhary remarked that the constituency, long considered one of the most neglected areas of Delhi, was now set to undergo a major transformation. He also flagged off two new DTC bus routes, including Shooting Range to Mehrauli and Shooting Range to AIIMS.

The programme was also attended by BJP District President Maya Bisht, nominated councillor and former District President Rohtas Kumar Advocate, among others.
