To ensure uninterrupted food distribution during the Monsoon, Delhi Food and Supply Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has issued special instructions for the departmental officials.
As per the guidelines, the officials have been instructed to ensure that fair price shops open on time, with mandatory information to be displayed on a board outside.

The Information Includes:
- Details of the vigilance committee
- Category-wise entitlement
- Stock status
- Number of beneficiaries
- Helpline number
- Other relevant information
- Eligibility criteria under the One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) scheme must be prominently displayed

During a review meeting on the status of ration distribution under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), it was revealed that approximately 57 per cent of the ration quota for September has been distributed.
Under the scheme, 1,45,610 migrant beneficiaries have received their rations so far in September. The ration distribution process is continuing to run smoothly despite the monsoon season.
