Traffic was disrupted for over five hours at Badli Mor, Delhi, after Cracks suddenly appeared on the surface of the railway overbridge on the Outer Ring Road on Monday evening. Passers-by immediately informed the traffic police and PWD officials. 

Upon receiving the information, traffic police and PWD staff first cordoned off the road and then immediately began repair work. Vehicular movement was able to resume after about five hours.

Regarding the matter, road safety expert Atul Ranjeet Kumar stated that it is a normal process for cracks to appear on the upper surface during underpass construction. He said that as soon as he was informed, he immediately notified PWD officials, after which the repairs were carried out. 

Meanwhile, PWD officials stated that the ROB surface was repaired as soon as they were informed. Vehicles are now passing through as before. There are no longer any issues.

To ensure no further cracks appear on the road, instructions have been given to the staff engaged in the underpass construction work.
