Delhi Air Pollution: Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) at 7 a.m. today was recorded at 264, placing it in the "poor" category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Earlier on Wednesday, air quality had improved during the day but deteriorated again at night. CPCB data shows that at 4 pm, Delhi's AQI was recorded at 202, still in the "poor" category. In neighboring regions, Sector 62 in Noida recorded 216, Vasundhara in Ghaziabad 280, Indirapuram 274, and Sector 51 in Gurugram 269.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) categorizes air quality as follows: Good (0-50), Satisfactory (51-100), Moderately Polluted (101-200), Poor (201-300), Very Poor (301-400), and Severe (401-500). A higher AQI value signifies more hazardous air conditions.

Delhi Weather
The overall AQI in Noida has reached 228, Ghaziabad 240, and Gurugram 249. Along with rising pollution, winter has arrived in Delhi, with temperatures expected to range from a minimum of 15 Degree Celsius to a maximum of 29 Degree Celsius. Colder mornings and nights are being felt, influenced by snowfall in the high-altitude hilly regions, while fog or mist is likely to persist throughout the day.
An orange pollution alert has been issued for 35 areas of Delhi as of 6 a.m. on Thursday, with AQI levels between 200 and 300, indicating severe pollution.
Areas Wise AQI In Delhi
The AQI around ITO was recorded at 287, placing it in the "poor" category. Several other areas in Delhi also reported high pollution levels, including Kartavya Path at 230, Alipurduar at 275, Anand Vihar at 262, Burari at 272, Chandni Chowk at 294, Dwarka at 288, near Delhi Airport at 240, Jahangirpuri at 290, and Lodhi Road at 149.

Several areas in Delhi recorded high pollution levels, with Dwarka Sector 8 at 277, IGI Airport 229, ITO 287, Jahangirpuri 279, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium 247, Lodhi Road-IMD 224, Major Dhyan Chand Stadium 230, Mandir Marg 239, Mundka 284, Najafgarh 253, Narela 289, Nehru Nagar 256, North Campus 280, and NSIT Dwarka 265.
