Delhi Air Quality Today: Delhi’s air quality remained in the very poor category on Tuesday morning, with an AQI of 363 at around 8 am, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Of the 39 monitoring stations in the city, 20 recorded AQI levels above 400, placing them in the ‘severe’ category, while the remaining 19 stations fell in the ‘very poor’ range of 300-400.
Rohini registered the highest AQI at 416, followed by Anand Vihar at 401, while Jahangirpuri and Wazirpur both recorded 400. Several other stations were nearing the severe threshold, highlighting persistently hazardous conditions across large parts of Delhi.
For reference, CPCB classifies AQI levels as: 0-50 good, 51-100 satisfactory, 101-200 moderate, 201-300 poor, 301-400 very poor, and 401-500 severe.
Delhi-NCR AQI Today
Air pollution continued to soar in the NCR on Tuesday morning. Noida and Ghaziabad reached dangerous levels with AQIs of 441 and 448, respectively. Gurugram recorded an AQI of 352, placing it in the very poor category. Other cities also reported alarming levels: Meerut 417, Ghaziabad 396, Noida 397, Greater Noida 382, and Faridabad 232.
Area-Wise AQI In Delhi Today
Air quality across Delhi remained hazardous on Tuesday morning. The India Gate area recorded an AQI of 328, placing it in the very poor category, while AIIMS and Safdarjung Hospital areas logged 323, also in the very poor range. Anand Vihar saw a severe AQI of 402, and ITO recorded 380, categorised as very poor. Several other areas were deep in the severe zone, including Defence Colony (464), Chandni Chowk (458), IGI Airport T3 (437), and Alipur (410). The New Delhi area remained slightly better but still poor, with an AQI of 291.

Delhi Weather
Delhi is expected to experience a minimum temperature of 11 Degree Celsius and a maximum of 25 Degree Celsius on Tuesday, with the mercury hovering around 14 Degree Celsius during the day. Winds will blow from 319° at a speed of 2.96 km/h, with gusts reaching 4.92 km/h. Sunrise is at 6:51 AM and sunset at 5:24 PM. According to the seven-day forecast, temperatures in Delhi will remain around 25-26 Degree Celsius from Tuesday to Sunday, dropping to 17 Degree Celsius on Monday.
50 Percent WFH In Delhi
The Delhi government has ordered a 50 percent work-from-home restriction for all government offices and private establishments, following Stage 3 of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). Issued on Monday by the Environment Department under Section 5 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, the order mandates that only half of the staff work on-site, with the remainder working remotely. Essential services such as hospitals, private health facilities, fire services, public transport, and water and sanitation have been exempted from the restrictions.
