Delhi's Visually Impaired SDM Ayushi Dabas Wins Rs 25 Lakh On KBC 17, Calls The Amitabh Bachchan Show 'An Emotion'

Ayushi Dabas, a visually impaired IAS officer and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Vasant Vihar, has won Rs 25 lakh on Season 17 of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati.

In a recent episode, Ayushi secured her spot on the hot seat after winning the "Fastest Finger First" round, after which she was personally escorted to the chair by the show's host, Amitabh Bachchan. She confidently answered 13 questions correctly. However, she was unable to answer the 14th question for Rs 50 lakh and, with no lifelines remaining, decided to quit the game.

During the show, Ayushi shared her deep emotional connection to Kaun Banega Crorepati, revealing that her family has watched it together since it first aired. They would describe the vibrant set and lighting to her and explain how Mr Bachchan makes every contestant feel comfortable. "For me, the show is not just a programme but an emotion," she said.

Amitabh Bachchan also welcomed Ayushi's mother, who was in the audience. Ayushi revealed that before joining the civil service, she had worked as a lecturer for 10 years.
