Benevolence Meaning: The term ‘Benevolence’ is simply used to describe the attribute of being well-meaning, generous and kind. It is a Latin word, a fusion of benevolentia (a combination of bene (well) and velle (to wish), literally, meaning wishing well. Benevolence is an attitude of goodwill and compassion in which an individual would wish to help others out of pure concern, without wanting anything in return. This quality itself is all about kindness, generosity and charity.
