Unknown Facts About Bigg Boss:  Have you ever wondered, the clocks that are often seen in the interior of Bigg Boss' house are real? To your surprise, the clocks in Bigg Boss' house are not genuine. These clocks are just props because the show follows the strict no-clock rule. Bigg Boss house contestants are not allowed to know the time during their stay in the controversial reality show, mainly due to the psychological tests that they go through each day, because of being cut off from the outer world.

The Bigg Boss' house rules make sure there is no actual existence of clocks, watches, mobile phones, books, internet and other things which in a way keep them connected to the outer world. Therefore, the participants stay totally disconnected from the outside world and time, which is the whole purpose of the show to keep their stay inside the house more intense and take them to their most raw emotions.

Lack of actual clocks makes contestants keep guessing through Bigg Boss's voice and the day schedule provided by the show to coordinate the time of the day. Static clocks found in the house are most likely fixed at a specific time, most likely at the time the show broadcasts on Colors TV, which is at 10:30 pm and at 9 pm on Jio Hotstar, and serve only as a piece of home decor without displaying real time.

This reality show with an isolated narrative is designed to increase the feeling of claustrophobia and disorientation among participants, making them vulnerable and bringing more emotional and behavioural exchanges that bring their real selves out and also lead to drama in the show. Contestants eat meals and do chores according to instructions, not by looking at a clock to check the time.

Other than the clocks, the house is equipped with numerous cameras, from the kitchen area to the Washroom/luggage area that record every inch movement of the contestants around the clock. The atmosphere, coupled with the absence of time frames, makes the house a more intense and dramatic social experiment environment.
