Non-Veg Ban: Food bans always come along with lots of debates and numerous opinions, and that is the reason, world rarely witnesses a nationwide food ban. A ban on a food seems unnecessary to some, while it holds a significant value to others. A ban on food usually happens due to whether the food product contains a harmful ingredient or due to ethical concerns. Environmental damage and, most importantly, religious or cultural beliefs are also some of the significant reasons for the prohibition on a particular food item.

The city of Palitana in Gujarat is the world’s first city to ban non-vegetarian food within its limits to march for vegetarianism and ecological sustainability.
