BARC Admit Card 2023: The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has released the admit card for the Computer Based Test (CBT) under Advertisement No. 03/2023/BARC, for multiple vacancies.
BARC Recruitment 2023's application period ran from April 24, 2023, to May 22, 2023. A written exam, interview, skill test, document verification, and medical examination are all part of the selection process.
According to the notification, the following positions are up for grabs: 181 for Technical Officer, 07 for Scientific Assistant, 24 for Technician Boiler Attendant, 1216 for Stipendiary Trainee Cat-I, and 2946 for Stipendiary Trainee Cat-II.
BARC Prelims 2023: Selection Process
The Selection Process involves three stages:-
Stage 1- Preliminary Test: This one-hour screening test consists of fifty multiple-choice questions with an emphasis on general awareness, science, and mathematics. Candidates receive three points for accurate responses; wrong answers result in a one-mark deduction. Individuals having fewer than 30% (reserved) or 40% (general) are disqualified.
Stage 2- Advanced Test: 50 multiple-choice questions in a two-hour exam using the same grading criteria as Stage 1. Shortlisting is determined by the merit list following Stage 2.
Stage 3- Skill Test: The number of applicants who are shortlisted is determined by how many qualify for Stage 2, and it doesn't go beyond four or five times the number of openings in each trade. It's a skill test with a Go/No-Go foundation.
Trainees are evaluated for absorption depending on their performance in the training and interview after completing the program successfully:
- Scientific Assistant/C -- Stipendiary Trainees Category-I: Level 7, Entry Pay: Rs. 44,900/-
- Technician/D Dental Technician -- Stipendiary Trainees Category-II: Level 5, Entry Pay: Rs. 29,200/-
- Technician/C -- Stipendiary Trainees Category-II: Level 4, Entry Fees: Rs. 25,500/-
- Technician/B -- Stipendiary Trainees Category-II: Level 3, Entry Fees: Rs. 21,700/-
Selected candidates are required to execute a bond promising to finish training and work for DAE constituent units for three years following absorption. If candidates fail to fulfil this commitment, they are required to make the repayment of stipend and book allowance, along with interest.

To download BARC prelims admit card 2023, candidates are advised to follow these steps:-
Step 1: Visit the official website of BARC at barc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the website's homepage, click on the 'Admit Card' or 'Recruitment.'
Step 3: For the vacancies, click on the recruitment link related to Advertisement No. 03/2023/BARC.
Step 4: After this, enter the required information accurately which includes registration number, date of birth, and any other details as needed.
Step 5: The admit card will appear on the screen and then candidates are advised to check the details such as name, examination date, and venue.
Step 6: Download the admit card and take a printout for further reference.
