JE Education Desk: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification for the 69th combined competitive examination (CCE). Interested and eligible candidates will be able apply for various Group A and B posts at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
According to the schedule, the BPSC application process will start on July 15, 2023. The last date to apply will be August 5, 2023. The BPSC Preliminary exam will be conducted on September 30, 2023, while the Mains exam will be held on February 2024. The Interview process is scheduled to take place between April and May 2024.

In order to apply for these posts candidates will have to pay Rs 100 for general category candidates while SC/ST/PH categories candidates will have to pay Rs 50 as an application fee.
Bihar BPSC 69th Exam: Exam Pattern
The BPSC exam will consist of two stages including the Preliminary exam and the Mains exam. The Preliminary exam will be held in the objective-type exam in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 10 am to 12:15 pm and the second shift will be from 2:00 pm to 4:15 pm. Candidates will get 2 hours and 15 minutes to attempt 150 questions. For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded.
The Mains examination will encompass three subjects, including General Studies, Essay, and an Optional subject, with the General Studies paper containing 250 questions, each carrying two marks. The Essay paper will be assessed out of 250 marks, while the Optional subject paper will be graded on a scale of 500 marks.
