Bihar Teacher Vacancy: Bihar Cabinet Approves New Teacher Recruitment Rules; Allows Nationwide Candidates To Apply In State

JE Education Desk: The state cabinet meeting, presided over by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday, approved a proposal to expand the New Teacher Recruitment Rules scheme in Bihar, enabling candidates from across the country to participate in the recruitment process.

The Bihar government has recently issued a notification for the recruitment of 1 lakh 70 thousand teachers, and applications are being accepted from 15th June 2023 until July 12, 2023. The cabinet approved 25 proposals in this meeting.

Following the Cabinet meeting, S. Siddharth, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Cabinet, announced that the Bihar State Teacher Recruitment, Transfer, and Disciplinary Action Service Conditions Rules have been amended. The government has now abolished the requirement of being a permanent resident of Bihar in the appointment.
