JE Education Desk: The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) will begin with the verification of marks and certified copies or inspection of answer sheets of the CA Foundation June 2023 exam today, August 8, 2023. The facility will now open at 1 pm instead of the original 11 am start time. Candidates whose CA Foundation results 2023 have been made public can request verification, CC, or scrutiny of the exam from June 2023 on the official website, icaiexam.icai.org.

The CA Foundation June 2023 results were made public by the ICAI on August 7, 2023. In this year's exam, 24.98% of applicants have qualified. Of over 1 lakh applicants who submitted applications to take the exam, 25,860 were found to be qualified.

Candidates who are dissatisfied with their results can fill out separate application forms to request the marks to be verified or the answer sheets to be re-evaluated. Candidates will have to write their request out by hand and pay Rs 100. The students will receive their verification fees back if their grades change.

Comparison with JEE, UPSC and CUET

There can't be a direct comparison between JEE, UPSC, CUET, and CA because these exams have a different syllabi, paper patterns and difficulty levels.

CA offers three levels—Foundation, Intermediate, and Final—and a comprehensive course. Inter-Final questions are subjective, while foundation-level questions are of objective variety. Among the subjects covered by the CA Exam include accounting, auditing, financial management, taxation, information technology, and economic laws.

General Studies Paper 1 and Paper 2 (commonly known as CSAT) are the two sets of objective exams offered by UPSC. Students must show up for both the preliminary and main exams, and if they pass, both must show up for the interview.

The subjective Mains Exam covers a variety of subjects, including, but not limited to, Indian politics, economics, history, science, and technology. However, the JEE B.E./B.Tech syllabus is constrained and only covers Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Due to the extensive syllabus, the CA Exam is difficult and necessitates extensive preparation, problem-solving abilities, etc. On the other side, UPSC is also difficult because it requires a broader understanding of subjects and covers themes like history, geography, and political science.

The CUET is moderately challenging for an average student, but you do need to have a strategy because some of the questions are open-ended.

Instead of emphasizing intellectual comprehension, CA focuses on applying concepts. Despite the constrained syllabus of JEE, you still need a committed strategy and consistency to achieve at least 150 to 200 marks. Another thing to keep in mind is that CA is a professional degree with various levels, whereas UPSC is a national exam and JEE/CUET is an entrance exam.
