The CAT 2023 examination, organised by the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, is going to take place today, November 26, 2023. The exam will be conducted in 150 cities across the country at designated examination centers. Candidates must follow the CAT 2023 dress code and crucial instructions and rules on exam day to avoid errors that could result in disqualification from taking the test. Every year, around 2 lakh candidates attempt the CAT exam.

Candidates must bring their hard copy of the CAT admit card along with the valid ID proof on the day of the examination. Candidates who fail to bring the CAT hall ticket will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. In order to download the CAT 2023 exam admit card candidates will have to enter the credentials details such as user ID and password on the official portal. 

Things To Carry On CAT Exam Day

CAT admit card 2023: Candidates must bring their CAT 2023 admit card it is mandatory for entry to the exam center.

Valid photo ID proof: Students must bring a valid photo ID in addition to their CAT admit card. Aadhar card, Electoral ID, Driving License, PAN card, Passport, or any government-issued document with the candidate's photograph and signature are all acceptable documents.

Scribe affidavit and medical certificate: Students who require assistance during the examination must provide supportive documentation, including the affidavit, to confirm their need for assistance.

Any other required document: Students should also prepare the relevant documentation for name changes or other needs for the CAT 2023 exam day.

List Of Barred Items

There is a list of prohibited things that students must avoid bringing into the CAT exam hall in addition to the allowed items. Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, electronic gadgets, calculators, wristwatches, and pouches containing stationery items are among the banned items.

CAT 2023 Exam Guidelines

- Candidates must arrive at the exam venue before the gate closes.

- To answer non-MCQs, use the on-screen keyboard and the mouse at the console to select the correct option for multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

- It is important that candidates mark their attendance on the given form and sign when asked in the Exam Lab.

- After the exam, submit over your signed Admit Card to the invigilator in the Exam Lab.

- Please do not request a break while inside the Exam Lab unless it is a medical emergency; such requests will not be approved.
