CAT 2024: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will administer the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on November 24 for admission to Post Graduate Programmes (PGPs) provided by IIMs and other participating institutes for the academic year 2025-26. The institute has declared its admission strategy for 2025, and there are no modifications to the weightage of CAT results from the previous year.
According to the qualifying standards, an applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for applicants from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories) from a recognized university. In the event of a foreign degree, the equivalency must be validated by the Association of Indian Universities.
For applicants who finished an integrated master's or dual degree straight following Class 12, the percentage of marks gained as determined by the institution that is equivalent to the bachelor's degree will be recognized.
Applicants who are in their last year of a bachelor's degree or comparable qualification exam, as well as those who have finished the degree requirements and are awaiting results, are eligible to apply.
