CAT Exam 2024: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) administers the Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) to applicants seeking admission to IIMs' different management programmes. According to previous trends, the CAT notice 2024 and application form will be made available soon on the official admission portal at iimcat.ac.in. Applicants should be aware that admission policies change between IIMs.
Last year, the IIM CAT exam registration started on August 2. According to previous patterns, the CAT information bulletin is scheduled to be released soon, and the application form 2024 procedure will likely begin on July 31. The leaflet will provide complete information on the registration process, eligibility criteria, reservation and selection policies.
The CAT exam will be conducted in November, with results usually available by the last week of December. Following this, those selected must appear for additional rounds of admission as stated by the particular IIM.
According to the eligibility criteria, applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, or 45% in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD). Students in the last year of their undergraduate programs will also be eligible to take the entrance exam.
