CBSE Board 12th Class Exam 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to hold the Class 12 Geography exam 2024 tomorrow, February 29, 2024. Students who are going to appear for the Geography paper can check and download the Geography sample paper and marking scheme for CBSE Class 12th at cbseacademic.nic.in.
The CBSE class 12 Geography exam 2024 will start at 10:30 am. According to the Geography sample paper, the question paper comprises 30 questions, all of which are mandatory. It is divided into five sections, including Sections A, B, C, D, and E. In Section A, questions 1 to 17 are multiple-choice types, each carrying 1 mark. Section B contains questions 18 and 19, which are source-based and carry 3 marks each. Section C includes questions 20 to 23, which are the short answer type and worth 3 marks each, requiring responses of 80 to 100 words. Section D consists of questions 24 to 28, which are long answer types, each carrying 5 marks, and necessitating responses of 120 to 150 words. Moreover, Section E contains questions 29 and 30, which are Map-based.

The Fundamentals of Human Geography and; India, People, and Economy are the two primary books in the CBSE 12th Geography syllabus for 2024. While the allocation of marks for each unit differs, the two volumes have an equal weight of 35 out of a total of 70 marks each, making them contribute equally to the total score.
