CBSE Board Exam 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced significant changes to the examination pattern for commerce stream students getting ready for the CBSE Class 12 board exams in 2024. One notable change involves the removal of answer booklets that traditionally included printed tables, notably in the subject of Accountancy. This modification is set to take effect starting with the board exams scheduled for the academic year 2023-24.
“It is informed that from Board Examination, 2024 CBSE based on feedback received from stakeholders has decided to do away with the Answer Books wherein tables were provided in the subject of Accountancy. From Examinations-2024, normal lines Answer Books as provided in other subjects in Class 12 will be provided in Accountancy subject also,” reads the official notification.

Alongside the modification in the Class 12 Accountancy answer book pattern, CBSE has decided to extend the registration data submission deadline for students in classes 9 and 11, who are preparing for the 2023-24 board exams. This extension has been granted to accommodate the requirements of schools and students. The new deadline for submitting registration data for students in classes 9 and 11, without incurring any late fees, has been scheduled for October 25th.
Candidate registration will be conducted through the Pariksha Sangam link provided on the CBSE website, which can be accessed at https://www.cbse.gov.in. For the 2024-25 Session, only students whose names are submitted via the online registration data submission process will be permitted to appear for the class 10th and 12th Board examinations. It is mandatory for all CBSE-affiliated schools to complete their registration before proceeding with the online submission process.
