CBSE Class 12 Paper Leak 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has responded to recent claims of a question paper leak in the Class 12 Physical Education exam held on February 17, 2025. The board has labelled these allegations as false and assured students, parents and educators that strict security measures are in place to prevent any disruptions to the ongoing board exams.

YouTuber Zaki Saudagar Faces Warning Over Fake CBSE Paper Leak Allegations

The rumours, which circulated on platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Telegram and X, stated that the Class 12 exam papers were leaked. A YouTube video by Zaki Saudagar, who runs a channel with over 600,000 subscribers, falsely claimed that the Physical Education paper was leaked via the messaging app Telegram. The video misled viewers by alleging that the paper was shared in a private Telegram group a day before the exam.

CBSE has clarified that these claims are baseless and have reassured the public that the board exams, which began on February 15 and will run until April 4, 2025, are being conducted with the utmost fairness and transparency. The board has urged students and parents to stay vigilant against fake news and to rely solely on official sources for accurate information.

CBSE Warns Of Legal Action Against Those Spreading Misinformation

In response to the video, the CBSE has issued a stern warning to Saudagar and other individuals spreading misinformation. The board has stressed that any attempt to disrupt the examination process through false claims will lead to strict legal action. CBSE has also stated that individuals involved in spreading such fake news, including students, could face penalties under the board’s Unfair Means (UFM) regulations, along with possible legal consequences under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The board has warned that sharing or posting exam-related content on social media is a serious offence and students caught doing so may face severe consequences, including the cancellation of their exams for the current and upcoming years.

CBSE has also advised parents to assist their children in distinguishing between verified and unverified sources of information to prevent the spread of false claims.
