According to the CBSE class 12th Maths sample question paper, this question paper consists of five sections: A, B, C, D, and E, all of which are mandatory. However, some questions offer internal choices. Section A contains 18 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 2 Assertion-Reason based questions, each carrying 1 mark. Section B comprises 5 Very Short Answer (VSA) questions, each carrying 2 marks. Section C includes 6 Short Answer (SA) questions, each worth 3 marks. Section D contains 4 Long Answer (LA) questions, each carrying 5 marks. Section E consists of 3 source-based/case-based/passage-based/integrated units of assessment, each with sub-parts and carrying 4 marks each.
