The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently incorporated skill subjects into the school curriculum, aiming to integrate 21st-century skills into educational systems. In addition to their main subjects, Class 11 students now have the opportunity to select from approximately 43 electives. These electives can be chosen in accordance with the scheme of studies provided by their respective schools.

The curriculum and study material for the skill electives are accessible on the CBSE academic website under the section titled 'Skill Education'. Students can visit the official CBSE website to check the list of electives offered by the board.

The skill subjects are crafted to bolster the employability and entrepreneurial prowess of students. Among the newly introduced elective subjects are Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Physical Activity Trainer, Land Transportation Associate, Electronics & Hardware, and Design Thinking & Innovation.
