CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023: Applications for the Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023 Scheme are now being accepted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). For the applicants who received the Single Girl Child Scholarship in 2022, the Board has also established the renewal portal. On October 18, 2023, online applications must be submitted by that date.
Under this award, qualified students will get Rs 500. For a maximum of two years, the scholarship will be given out. The scholarship will only be awarded to citizens of India.
The official notice reads, “All Single Girl Students, who have secured 60% or more marks in CBSE Class X Examination and are studying Class XI & XII in School (affiliated with CBSE) whose tuition fee is not more than ₹1,500/- p.m. during the academic year, shall be considered for the purpose. In the next two years, the total enhancement in tuition fee in such school shall not be more than 10% of the tuition fee charged.”
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023: Selection Procedure
Students must have earned 60% or more in the CBSE Class X Examination to succeed.

Students must have received the CBSE Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship the previous year, have been enrolled in CBSE class XI the year before, have received 50% or more in class XI, and have been promoted to class XII to be eligible for renewal.
Candidates should be enrolled in connected schools with the CBSE for Class XI and XII.
The maximum monthly tuition for Class X should be Rs 1,500, with a 10% increase for Classes XI and XII.
