Chhattisgarh Summer Vacation 2024: The Chhattisgarh government has extended the summer vacation for all schools in the state until June 25, 2024, due to a severe heatwave. The state's education department issued an order on Sunday evening. Now the schools will reopen on June 26. Students and parents are advised to take note of this new order. For more details, students are advised to contact their respective schools.

Minister Brijmohan Agarwal emphasised the importance of this decision due to the intense heat affecting different parts of Chhattisgarh. The severe temperatures have disrupted daily routines, causing discomfort and posing health risks, particularly for children. Parental concerns about their children's well-being during this period were pivotal in reaching this decision.

Initially, the Chhattisgarh government announced a summer break for all schools from April 22 to June 15. However, due to the severe heat conditions affecting students' health, the government has extended the summer vacation until June 25. Schools will now reopen the next Monday.
