CLAT 2025 Exams: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 will be administered by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) during the first week of December 2024. According to Careers360, CLAT 2025 will take place in the first week of December. The first or second week of July will see the opening of the application form. The full program and a detailed CLAT 2025 notification will soon be available on the consortium's official website.

Every year, 24 participating national law colleges administer the CLAT exam to candidates seeking admission to their 5-year LLB and LLM programs. Admission to the nation's best legal schools, including NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, WBNUJS Kolkata, and NLU Jodhpur, is obtained through the entrance exam.

The full program and a detailed CLAT 2025 notification will soon be available on the consortium's official website. “Please note that the registration for CLAT 2025 will open by July mid-week and the exam will be conducted in the first week of December 2024. Dates are yet to be announced,” the official said as quoted by Careers360

CLAT 2025 exam details

The CLAT is administered offline using pens and paper. The test is administered in more than 130 places nationwide. The exam consists of 120 questions in total. The English language, and current affairs, including general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative procedures are among the topics included in the CLAT syllabus. Constitutional law, administrative law, tort law, jurisprudence, corporation law, tax law, international law, and other subjects are covered in the CLAT PG syllabus.

CLAT 2025 Eligibility

- Applicants are qualified for CLAT UG if they passed their class 12 with at least 45% of the possible points, and CLAT PG if they received at least 50% of the possible points in their LLB degree.

- Candidates who identify as SC, ST, or PwD will have their minimum qualifying exam score criteria relaxed by 5%.

- The CLAT 2025 exam has no upper age limit for participation.
