5 Lakh Tablets For Students To Boost Digital Education
To upskill digital learning among students, the Haryana government has announced that 5 lakh tablets will be distributed among students from Classes 10 to 12. The SIM cards will henceforth provide connectivity to these tablets and help with online study materials and other relevant resources. As part of Haryana's e-Adhigam (Advanced Digital Haryana Initiative of Government with Adaptive Modules) programme, the initiative aims to provide appropriate digital tools to students for their personalised learning across government schools.
Initiative Focuses On Technical Education
Reiterating the focus, CM Nayab Singh Saini said that the government wants to equip students with digital tools necessary for present-day education. To fulfill that goal, the purchase of 5 lakh Data SIM cards has been approved. Besides this, the government also focuses on improving the healthcare of the citizens across the state. Reportedly, 59 Advanced Life Support ambulances under the National Health Mission and other service-related works worth more than Rs 90 crore have also been approved.
