Madhya Pradesh has officially rolled out a 12-digit digital student identity registry to streamline academic documentation and safeguard student records. Nearly one crore unique identification numbers have already been generated across the state.

This progressive digital initiative aligns directly with national educational frameworks to modernise student administration. The unique identification number securely consolidates all academic records, grade sheets, and institutional achievements into a single centralised digital repository.

Core Objectives and Scale

The primary objective of this administrative rollout is to establish a secure, tamper-proof digital profile for every school-going child. State education authorities report that nearly seventy-eight percent of students now possess their unique digital credentials, marking a major milestone in digital governance.

Academic Credit Integration

The specialised digital architecture simplifies credit recognition and educational transfers across different boards. Students can seamlessly accumulate continuous learning milestones from their early schooling straight into higher education without administrative friction or lost paperwork.

Madhya Pradesh Student Identification Campaign:

- Under a special state-wide campaign, unique digital credentials have been successfully generated for over 11.4 million (1.14 crore) students, representing approximately 78.5 percent of the total student population.

-This system assigns a secure 12-digit digital profile to every child, consolidating all official academic records and achievements onto a single centralied platform.

-This administrative modernization aligns with the national framework, enabling the secure and streamlined management of student progress, credit recognition, and institutional data across the state.
