The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar, has officially released the exam city information slip for the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2025. Candidates can now access the city slip to know their allotted examination centre location through the official website – csbc.bihar.gov.in. The link to directly download the slip is also available at apply-csbc.com.

The Bihar Police Constable written examination is scheduled to be conducted on six different dates: July 16, 20, 23, 27, 30, and August 3, 2025. As per the earlier notification, CSBC will release the admit cards in a staggered manner, a week before each exam date. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for updates.

How to Download Admit Card (When Released)

Once available, candidates can follow these steps to download the CSBC Bihar Police Constable admit card:

  1. Visit the official site: csbc.bihar.gov.in

  2. Click on the link titled "Download e-Admit Card for Constable Exam 2025"

  3. Enter your Registration ID or Mobile Number, Date of Birth, and the Captcha code.

  4. Submit the form and your admit card will appear.

  5. Download and print a copy for future reference.

 Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The Bihar Police Constable recruitment consists of two stages: a written test and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

  • Written Test: 100 objective-type questions for 100 marks; duration is 2 hours.

  • PET: Candidates 5 times the total vacancies will be shortlisted based on written test merit.

The written test is only qualifying in nature and does not count toward final merit. However, failing it disqualifies a candidate from further rounds.

Eligibility and Recruitment Overview

This recruitment drive aims to fill 19,838 Constable vacancies in the Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police. Eligible candidates included those who passed:

  • Class 12 or Intermediate exams,

  • Maulvi qualification by Bihar Madarsa Board,

  • Or Shastri/Acharya qualifications (with English) or equivalent, as of April 18, 2025.
