CSIR UGC NET 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CSIR UGC NET 2025 Exam City Intimation Slip on July 19, 2025. This is an advance notice for all registered candidates who will appear for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 exam scheduled to be held on July 28, 2025.

Candidates can now check and download their exam city slip from the official website — csirnet.nta.ac.in — using their application number and date of birth. It is important to note that this is not the admit card but an advance intimation of the city where the exam centre will be located. The admit cards will be released separately by NTA on the same portal.

Exam Schedule and Subject-wise Shift Timing

The exam will be held in two shifts across various centres in the country in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Subjects are distributed between shifts as follows:

July 28, 2025     Life Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences       Shift 1         9:00 am –     12 noon
July 28, 2025 Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences Shift 2 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

The exam will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions divided into three parts, without any breaks in between papers.

How to Download Exam City Slip?

Follow these steps to download your city slip:

  1. Visit to the official website: https://csirnet.nta.ac.in

  2. Click on “CSIR UGC NET 2025 Exam City Slip” link on the homepage.

  3. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.

  4. Click on Submit.

  5. View and download the exam city slip.

  6. Save a printed copy for reference.
