CSIR UGC NET December Registration 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) have officially started accepting applications for the CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 examination on their official website on September 25, 2025. Interested and eligible students should visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and complete the registration formalities and pay the online application fee. 

The registration window for the December examination will remain open until October 24, 2025. After that, students who need to make corrections in their submitted registration forms can do so between October 27 and October 29, 2025, during the correction window provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

CSIR UGC NET December Registration 2025: 

According to the official notification, the CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency on December 18, 2025 in offline mode. The test will be conducted in two different sessions: the first examination shift will take place from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, whereas the second examination shift will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. 

The CSIR NET examination will be conducted to determine the eligibility of those candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), for Lectureship (LS), for the vacancy of Assistant Professor, and also for those students who are seeking admission into PhD programmes offered by top Universities and colleges in India.

Application Fee:

The application fee for CSIR UGC NET Registration is Rs 1,150 for those candidates belonging to the General category whereas Rs 600 for General-EWS and OBC candidates, and Rs 325 for those candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories.

CSIR UGC NET December Registration 2025: How to apply

Step 1. Students must visit the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in to apply.

Step 2. There will be a link for the ‘Registration for Joint CSIR UGC-NET 2025’ on the homepage.

Step 3. A new page will open on the screen where students have to complete the registration process by providing the necessary details.

Step 4. Log in using your application number and password and fill the CSIR NET application form, pay the online fee.

Step 5. Submit the application form and download or print a copy for future reference.
