CSIR UGC NET Re-Exam Date 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the CSIR UGC NET Exam 2024. The CSIR UGC NET examination was scheduled to be held between June 25 to June 27, 2024, which has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances as well as logistic issues. The CSIR UGC NET re-exam date 2024 will be announced soon at nta.ac.in.

“The candidates are hereby informed that the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET Examination June-2024 which was scheduled to be held between 25.06.2024 to 27.06.2024 is being postponed due to unavoidable circumstances as well as logistic issues. The revised schedule for the conduct of this examination will be announced later through the official website,” reads the notification.

The NTA advised candidates to regularly check the official website, csimnet.nta.ac.in, for the latest updates. For any queries or clarifications, candidates can call the NTA Help Desk at 011-40759000 or 011-69227700, or email NTA at csimet@nta.ac.in.

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET fellowship program aims to promote the development of National Science & Technology Human Resources. CSIR awards numerous Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs) each year to candidates who qualify for the organisation's test. This program assesses the eligibility of Indian nationals for positions such as JRFs, Assistant Professorships, and admission to Ph.D. programs in Indian universities and colleges, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria set by UGC.

The news comes just days after public outcry over the cancellation of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET) and the University Grant Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) exams.
