Delhi Nursery Admissions 2024: The Directorate of Education (DOE) will start the admission process for the Delhi Nursery tomorrow, November 23. According to the schedule, the registration window will activate tomorrow, November 23, and will close on December 15, 2023. Candidates can check the full schedule here.
According to the schedule, the uploading of criteria and their points by the school was concluded by November 20, 2023. The school will provide information to children who have applied for admission by December 29, 2023. The marks received by each student will be published by January 5, 2024.
Delhi Nursery Admissions 2023: Eligibility Criteria
In order to register for the Delhi Nursery Admissions, the children's age limit for pre-school, pre-primary, and class 1 should be four years, five years, and six years respectively. Admission for 25 per cent of the seats in each private school allocated to the economically disadvantaged/weaker sector is centralised and conducted online by the Directorate of Education.
The documents required for admission such as Resident proof, Income proof, Caste certificate, Date of birth certificate, Aadhar card, etc.
According to NEP, class 1 should be six years old, and the new academic structure is 5+3+3+4. The first five years of schooling consist of the foundational stage up until Class 1, the preparatory age up until class 4, the middle school years, and the final four years of secondary education, which span Classes 9 to 12.
