DUSU Election Result 2024: The results for the Delhi University Student Union will be announced today (November 25) after almost two months. The counting of votes began at 8 am today. With the announcement of the results, the university has set strict guidelines and instructions for candidates, prohibiting activities such as bursting crackers or holding roadshows. Candidates are also required to submit an affidavit to the university, with the proforma available on the official website.
This year's election is a close contest between the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). While NSUI seeks to hold onto some of its seats, ABVP is aiming for a clean sweep. The race for the president's post is expected to be competitive, with ABVP's Rishabh Chaudhary, NSUI's Rounak Khatri, and AISA's Savvy Gupta all vying for the top position.
