GATE 2024: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 registration process is likely to begin on August 24, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has announced. According to the information displayed on the official website, the exam will start on February 3. The institute launched the exam website– gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
According to the detailed schedule provided on the official website, the last date for submitting the application form will be September 29, 2023. Applicants will have the opportunity to make corrections and modifications to their forms from November 7 to November 11, 2023. Candidates are advised to check the official website for more information.
The GATE 2024 exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The exam will be held in two shifts including the first shift will start at 9:30 and will end at 12:30 pm and the second shift will commence at 2:30 pm and will conclude at 5:30 pm.
The GATE exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode, covering a total of 30 subject papers and offering 82 combinations of papers. Candidates will have the flexibility to choose between appearing for one or two test papers from the permissible two-paper combinations. The GATE score obtained by candidates will remain valid for a period of three years from the date of the results' announcement.
The GATE exam evaluates candidates' comprehension of diverse undergraduate subjects in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, and Humanities. The GATE score holds significance as it can be utilised for securing admission and financial assistance for masters and doctorate programs in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Humanities.
