HPCET 2025: The Himachal Pradesh Technical University has released the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2025 test dates. According to the official notice, the HPCET 2025 exam for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admissions will be conducted on May 10, 2025.
Applicants who have submitted an application form can view the HPCET 2025 exam date announcement on the official website, himtu.ac.in. The HPCET 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions. Session 1 will run from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for UG programs such as Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharmacy).
The second session exam for PG programs such as Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management (MBA T&HM) will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

HPCET 2025: Eligibility criteria
To qualify for the HPCET 2025, students must achieve the following requirements:
- Applicants must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.
- Those must have completed the following subjects: informatics practices, biotechnology, physics, engineering graphics, business studies, mathematics, chemistry, computer science, electronics, information technology, biology, technical vocational subjects, agriculture, or entrepreneurship.
- Applicants must have at least 45% in the aggregate of all the specified topics, with reserved candidates receiving 40%.
HPCET 2025: Exam centers
The HPCET 2025 exam will be held in several sites around Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Chandigarh. Cities in Himachal Pradesh comprise Bilaspur, Chamba, Dharamshala, Hamirpur, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Nahan, Solan, Una, Palampur, Paonta Sahib, Nurpur, Nalagarh, and Kala Amb. The exam will be held in Jammu & Kashmir, as well as in Chandigarh.
