HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has invited online applications for various Assistant Professor posts. These positions are available in various disciplines within the Higher Education Department of Haryana across the state. The online application process will begin on August 7, 2024, and will close on August 27, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at hpsc.gov.in.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 2424 vacant posts in the organisation. Before filling out the registration form, candidates are advised to read the official HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024 notification.

HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process includes a screening test, a subject knowledge test, and an interview/viva-voce.

- Screening Test: This test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a duration of 2 hours. The total marks available are 100, with each question carrying equal marks. Each question has five options (A, B, C, D, and E), and one-fourth of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

- Subject Knowledge Test: This test lasts for 3 hours and is worth 150 marks.

- Interview/Viva-Voce: The interview carries a weightage of 12.5 per cent.

The first merit list will be compiled by combining the marks from the subject knowledge test and the interview/viva-voce.

HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the posts should have a strong academic record, including a Master’s degree with at least 55 per cent marks in a relevant or allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Moreover, all candidates must have knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit up to the matriculation level or through higher education.

HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: Age Limit

The age limit for applicants should be between 21 and 42 years, as of 15 days before the last date for submission of applications to the Commission, which is July 15, 2024.

HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

The application fee will be Rs 1,000 for male candidates and Rs 250 for female candidates.
