ICAI Result 2024 Topper List: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Wednesday released the results for the CA Foundation and Intermediate Examinations 2024. Along with the ICAI CA results 2024, the institute has also announced the CA inter September 2024 toppers name. This year, Parami Umesh Parekh has secured the top rank in the CA Intermediate September 2024 exam, scoring 484 out of 500 marks with an overall percentage of 80.67 per cent.

ICAI Chairman Dheeraj Khandelwal highlighted a historic milestone: for the first time, all three top ranks in the CA Intermediate exam were achieved by women, marking a significant shift in the profession. Currently, women account for about 30 per cent of ICAI’s membership, with expectations to reach 50 per cent in the next five years. The growth has been extraordinary; in 2008, there were only 8,000 female members, rising to 80,000 by 2018, and today, exceeding 125,000.
"More than just numbers, this trend reflects how accountancy is becoming a top career choice for women, often surpassing interest among men. It’s a sign of greater opportunities, changing perceptions, and a future where women are leading with expertise and dedication," he added.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the exam dates for the January 2025 examinations. According to the official schedule, the Foundation Course exams will be held on January 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2025. The Intermediate Course exams for Group I are scheduled for January 11, 13, and 15, while Group II will take place on January 17, 19, and 21.
In a separate post on a microblogging site, Khandelwal said that candidates who pass the CA Intermediate exam and are looking for articleship to register for the CA Final by October 31 in order to begin their articleship. These students must have completed the ITT and GMCS programs. Khandelwal further added that this registration could save students six months in their preparation for the CA Final exams.
