IGNOU January 2024 Session:  The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Tuesday extended the last date of the re-registration process for all programmes offered in ODL/ online mode for the January 2024 cycle. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at ignou.ac.in.

According to the revised schedule, the IGNOU re-registration window has been extended till February 15, 2024. Earlier, the re-registration for January 2024 started on December 5 and was scheduled to end on January 29.

If an applicant is having trouble registering on the portal, he or she can contact the regional center to reset their account or update their email address or mobile number. Applicants should be aware that they will be required to provide the correct email address and mobile number in order to receive future updates and communication.

"The last date for "Re-registration" for all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode for the January 2024 session has been extended till 15th February 2024," IGNOU tweeted on X.

“You will need to register on the Portal. Please click the “New Registration’ button to proceed. If you have already registered on the portal, you may use your Username and Password to log in. In case you face difficulty in registering on the portal (not getting OTP/ forgot Username/Password or any other difficulty), please approach your Regional Centre for re-setting of your account/updating email ID or mobile number,” reads the notification.

IGNOU 2024 Re-Registration: Here's How To Apply

Step 1: Go to the official website-- onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the link ‘Ignou Re-Registration’
Step 3: Now candidates will have to provide the credentials details
Step 4: Fill out the application form and upload the required documents
Step 5: Pay the required application fee
