IGNOU Free Courses 2025: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced 8 free courses for aspiring Professionals and students in management and commerce. These eight courses  are available on the SWAYAM portal, cover a wide range of topics from accounting and law to marketing and entrepreneurship.

All intrested students can apply online, with registration for most courses closing on septmber 15. The initiative provides a chance for learners to gain practical knowledge and critical skills without paying any fee.

List Of Eight Free Courses Offered By IGNOU:

here is the list of 8 free courses in management and commorece are as follows: 

1. Financial Accounting:

Professor Sunil Kumar will teach this course. The course covers the theoretical framework of accounting, preparation of financial statements and their interpretation. The course provides learners with the ability to understand the financial position of a business in a transparent manner. Registration will end on September 15.

2. Financial Literacy

Financial Literacy is a course designed for students and ambitious professionals starting their journey in the field of finance. This course provides life skills in finance. It aims to help learners develop long-term confidence in managing financial decisions.

3. Entrepreneurship Skills & Digital Marketing Strategies

This 12-week duration programme blends entrepreneurship fundamentals with modern digital marketing tools, and the enrollment process will conclude on september 15. It is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, college learners, and small business owners to promote startups effectively.

4. Business Organisation And Management: 

One of the core courses of the BCom programme, this subject introduces students to the basics of business and enterprises. The course will be taught by Professor Nawal Kishor, and enrolments close on September 15, 2025.

5. Business Law:

This course explores various agreements, from social to commercial, focusing on those with legal enforceability. It trains students to assist management in decision-making without always relying on the legal department.

6. Principles Of Marketing:

Led by Dr Anupriya Pandey, this course explains the fundamentals of marketing, including strategies, the marketing mix, and the importance of marketing in business.

 

7. Income Tax And Practice:

This is one of the core courses in the B.Com programme under the CBCS scheme. The main objective of this course is to familiarises students with income tax laws, rules, and regulations. Registration ends on September 15.

8. Business Communication:

This 12-week course will teach you how communication is conducted in business contexts like meetings, presentations, and client interactions. The course Taught by Dr.Rashmi Bansal. The last date for applications is September 15.
